Lentils for lent

Join us to learn exactly how to make a good dal, from soaking and boiling your lentils to the spices you need to use, according to a few of our old family recipes.  We will cook a yellow toor dal with seasonal vegetables, a brown masoor dal, a chick pea vindaloo and a traditional Gujerati black-eyed bean and yoghurt curry.  We will serve this for lunch with fresh kachumber, pilau rice and roti, and finish our meal with some traditional chai and indian sweets.
