In this section you will find all the ingredients you need to form the basis of your Indian cooking repertoire. Once you have the right spices and pantry staples, you'll just need to shop regularly for fresh produce, dairy and meat.

The 10 essential recipes you can purchase as part of your pack from the shop section of this website are:

+ batata vadas

+ green chutney

+ perfect rice

+ moong dal pancakes

+ kachumber salsa

+ coconut chicken (or fish) curry

+ chicken tikka

Once you have mastered these recipes, you can start trying new ingredient combinations and the possibilities are endless.  For an Indian banquet, try a combination of pakoras and chutney for starters, and for the main course make chicken tikka and a curry, vegetables, a salad, rice and moong dal flatbreads.
